Terms of Service
General Commitments
Children between the ages of 2.5 and 12 are eligible to participate in Future Valley Academy (FVA) programs.
All parents are required to read and explain the rules outlined in the “Parent’s Handbook” to their children. The handbook will be emailed to parents in a timely manner before the start of the program.
The primary language spoken at FVA is English; therefore, a basic understanding of English is required for participation. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you confirm that your child has the necessary language skills to participate in the FVA program.
The FVA directors reserve the right to withdraw any student whose influence or actions are deemed unsatisfactory, unsafe, or incompatible with the FVA community or who refuses to follow camp rules and policies. In such cases, no refund or reduction in fees will be provided. Parents will also be responsible for any additional costs related to their child’s early departure.
Behavior & Conduct Expectations
Students are expected to maintain the highest standards of conduct at all times. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
• Profanity or derogatory language
• Physical violence or threats
• Failure to follow FVA staff instructions
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, parents confirm that their child has permission to participate in all FVA programs, field trips, and special outings supervised by Future Valley Academy.
Photography & Media Consent
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, parents agree that their child may be photographed or recorded during FVA activities. Such materials may be used by FVA and/or its business partners for promotional and marketing purposes.
All photographs used in brochures, websites, or marketing materials are the property of Future Valley Academy (FVA). No reproduction is allowed without prior written consent from FVA management.
Medical & Emergency Care
In the event of a medical emergency where a parent cannot be reached, FVA is authorized to allow a physician selected by FVA to provide necessary medical care, including but not limited to:
• Hospitalization
• Medication
• Injections, anesthesia, or surgery
Parents agree to have their child examined by a licensed healthcare provider, who will complete the FVA Health Examination Form (emailed separately). This form, including proof of required immunizations, must be submitted no later than one (1) week before the child’s arrival at camp.
Any medical conditions or dietary needs must be disclosed to FVA before the child’s arrival. Prescription medications must be provided by a licensed doctor and submitted to FVA staff upon arrival, along with English instructions for administration. FVA staff will handle medication distribution.
Personal Belongings & Prohibited Items
Children are responsible for their own belongings. FVA is not liable for any lost or damaged personal items unless the loss or damage is proven to be due to FVA’s negligence.
The following items are strictly prohibited at FVA:
• Tobacco, alcohol, and drugs of any kind
• Electronic devices, including but not limited to mobile phones, computers, TVs, and video games
• Outside food, including candy (Please do not send packages containing food items.)
• Any food containing peanuts or peanut-derived ingredients (to ensure the safety of students with allergies)
Expensive or valuable personal items (jewelry, designer clothing, or shoes) should not be brought to FVA.
Parental Responsibility
Parents agree to support FVA policies by encouraging their child to follow camp rules and maintaining positive communication with FVA staff.
If parents have any concerns or feedback regarding FVA programs, staff, or policies, they agree to address them directly with FVA management.
Parents are financially responsible for any property damage caused by their child, whether directly or indirectly.
